Art Director – My foremost responsibility: concept, design and production for monthly retail promotions. This includes developing a variety of dynamic, attention-getting window graphics and in-store graphics. I was also responsible for product packaging and all signage and graphics for product displays and collateral. My project management and scheduling included supervision of freelancers and any photo direction or illustration needed. On major promotions I would oversee the work of outside design agencies. I was often involved in presentations and facilitating meetings with officers and other staff.

I started at Brookstone as a freelancer doing various pen and ink product illustration for retail and catalog. After several months I became a full-time freelancer doing retail display graphic design and page layout for catalogs. I was soon responsible for the retail window promotions and the supervision of freelancers. When we converted to electronic publishing I became the resource for computer upkeep and training.
