| Art you can wear? That is a special feature of the Renaissance Room, a unique NH art gallery that presents custom clothing in an inviting setting where visitors are surrounded by art and elegance. One-of-a-kind fashions by such designers as Pashya White, Laura Traffie and Celeste Wyrosdic are displayed along with antique and vintage kimonos imported directly from Japan. Complementing these original designs are an assortment of silk lingerie, scarves, indulgent necessities and a wide range of attractive gifts for women. Also available is unusual artistic jewelry, styled especially to connect with the artistic clothing fashions from the Renaissance Room. Men shoppers seeking unusual gifts for women may well find them here. The focus at the Renaissance Room is on personal attention. Owner Jacquie Perry uses her special fashion sense to help each woman find the exact color, design, style and fit to go with each woman’s unique personality. And she does all of this while serving up a cup of tea and conversation about art and painting and sculpture and wonderful things to wear. Wearable Art Salons, featuring a growing list of new designers who continually bring forth new designs, are held six times each year. Look for the next one in events. |
