| “Everything from the clothes we wear to the environments we live in are works of art,” is the philosophy of Jacquie Perry, creator of the Renaissance Room, a unique NH art gallery. And Jacquie practices what she believes by showing the work of women artists who design clothing, produce paintings, make sculptures, and create jewelry, hats and a variety of other artistic items that sell as personal possessions or as gifts. “Environments should be fun, relaxing and beautiful,” Jacquie says, “and I’ve worked hard to create that kind of atmosphere here.” In a setting that features opera and classical music, soft and plush Victorian furniture, and dazzling chandeliers, the operative word is elegance.
